Xtreme Car Audio are a sydney based company, being established in 2008, they’ve had to adapt with new technologies and market demands.

  • Heavily reliant on shop front “walk in” traffic Xtreme Car Audio expressed frustrations with their online presence’s inability to draw in new business.

  • As they were one of the first car audio businesses in Sydney that had an online presence, they were ranking naturally on page 1 in the 2000’s. However with the influx of new competition and because they had neglected their online presence for a number of years, they found themselves ranking on pages 2 and 3.

  • Xtreme Car Audio had a poor performing website that had a conversion rate of less than 1% with poor page-speed and a high mobile bounce rate.

Campaign Summary

The results

The website increased from having 2 keywords on page 1 to 30 keywords in the top 3 positions of page 1. Within three months the website's traffic had increased by 70%.

The website's conversion rate increased to 8.20% nearly immediately after the new website went live. The site now converts 8X more conversions from the traffic it generates.

The website now generates over a 180 monthly new phone calls and website enquiries

The Goals

As the website was already generating some direct traffic, it was in dire need of a revamp with the sole focus of increasing it’s conversion rate. Entelech had set a benchmark of increasing the website conversion rate to 5%. As there were noticeable Onsite SEO improvements, the campaign was designed to pull some keyword rankings from page 2 & 3 of google onto page 1.

The long term goal was to diversify their traffic channels by generating extra traffic through Google and Facebook. Xtreme Car Audio also wanted to become Sydney’s top installer of Android Auto and Apple Car Play head units. There was a 12 month goal to surpass 100 website conversions with their digital strategy.

The Challenges

Xtreme Car Audio’s website hadn’t been updated for over 4 years. Although the website was built on an old mobile responsive template, it didn’t function properly on modern devices. With only 500 sessions per month from direct search and poor rankings, the website had a poor conversion rate of less than 1%. The website was generating an average of 5 leads per month.
